Emilio H. Cordero

Chess and fitness coach, San Diego

  • 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
  • San Diego Sunrise Athletic Club
  • Since 2013
  • English
I've coached chess at San Diego Sunrise Athletic Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Emilio

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Emilio: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
