I coached athletics at St. Anne's Boxing Gym from 1992 to 2013. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
