I've worked in blacksmithing from 1982 to 2000. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 740 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
