Emery A. Spencer
Coached badminton for 17 years in Bristol
- 🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom
- 1994 to 2011
- English
For 17 years I ran the badminton program at Summit Community Club in Bristol. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Emery: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
