Emeka Okechukwu Tijani
Ceramics artist in Benin City
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- Since 2002
- English, Igbo
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 2002 at Meadowbank Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
