Thatching, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States

- English
I've worked in thatching since 1992. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,020 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ellie
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Ellie: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
