Ellie C. Valdez
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Cleveland, Ohio, United States
- Crescent Works
- Since 1997
- English, French
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1997 in Cleveland and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Ellie
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
