Elias Houston
Weaving, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Portland, Oregon, United States
- Crown Works
- Since 1992
- English
I've worked in weaving since 1992. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,020 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Elias: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
