I've worked in thatching since 2013. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Elena
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
