Elena Galina Gerasimov
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇺🇦 Odesa, Odesa Oblast, Ukraine
- Odesa Community Club
- Since 1991
- English, Ukrainian
For 35 years I've run the rugby program at Odesa Community Club in Odesa. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Elena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Elena: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
