I taught agriculture at Lakeview Boys' School in İzmir from 1980 to 2011. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Duygu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
