I taught civil engineering at St. Mary's University from 1981 to 2008, and supervised 51 dissertations along the way.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Wardana: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
