- Hillcrest Institute of Technology

I spent 34 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Hillcrest Institute of Technology in Mérida. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
More about Dr. Vásquez
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Vásquez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
