I spent nine years as a lecturer in sociology at Jacaranda State University in Celaya. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Dr. Romero
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Romero: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
