My subject is statistics, and for 25 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Campinas College.
Former students now work as a postal worker and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Fernandes
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Fernandes: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
