I teach astronomy at Belo Horizonte Institute of Technology since 2006, and supervised 20 dissertations along the way.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Cavalcanti
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Cavalcanti: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
