I taught anthropology at Our Lady of Peace Polytechnic from 1980 to 1990, and supervised 32 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
