My subject is statistics, and for 13 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Unity Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Azevedo: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
