I've spent 15 years as a lecturer in political science at Eastgate State University in Alexandria. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Dr. Al-Farsi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Al-Farsi: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
