Dorcas Florence Kimani

Embroidery artist in Kasarani

🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
Kasarani Gallery
2011 to 2022
English, Swahili

I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 2011 at Kasarani Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I fix old bicycles.

More about Dorcas

I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
