Dorcas Anyango Mutebi
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- The Kasarani Shop
- 2006 to 2020
- English
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Kasarani, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Dorcas
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Dorcas: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
