I've coached swimming at Varanasi Youth Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
What gifts mean to Diya: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Jaffna.
