For 28 years I've run the netball program at Jaffna Highland Youth Club in Jaffna. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Deepika
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Deepika: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
