Danjuma Nnamdi Nwachukwu
Keeper of the literacy programs
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Reading Room
- 1984 to 2015
- English, Yoruba
I worked at Lagos Reading Room from 1984 to 2015. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
More about Danjuma
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.

What gifts mean to Danjuma: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
