Lola Ngozi Okoro
Keeper of the children's collections
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Redwood Library
- 1995 to 2024
- English, Yoruba
For 29 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Redwood Library.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. A library should feel like a living room.
More about Lola
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.
What gifts mean to Lola: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
