Daniel Simiyu Okello
Guitar and violin teacher
- 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
- Mwanza Fairview Quartet
- 1981 to 2017
- English, French
I play guitar and violin. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
More about Daniel
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Daniel: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
