I coached volleyball at Edinburgh Youth Club from 1994 to 2010. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You coached me in 1999. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ballarat.
