I coached swimming at Kingsway Athletic Club from 2006 to 2014. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Craig
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Craig: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
