Comfort Yewande Falana
Illustration and woodcarving artist
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Print Workshop
- 2010 to 2023
- English, Igbo
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2010 at Lagos Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Comfort
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Comfort: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
