Colleen N. O'Connor
Software mentor, Dublin
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Harbor Community Trust
- 1985 to 2009
- English, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 890 people through Harbor Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Colleen
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Colleen: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
