Coach Zinhle
Badminton and fitness coach, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Community Club
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Afrikaans, French
For ten years I ran the badminton program at Johannesburg Community Club in Johannesburg. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Zinhle: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
