Coach Yusuf
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Community Club
- Since 1988
- English, Afrikaans
For 38 years I've run the wrestling program at Soweto Community Club in Soweto. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Yusuf
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Yusuf: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
