Coach Yolanda
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Springfield Athletic Club
- Since 2009
- English, Spanish
I've coached boxing at Springfield Athletic Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Yolanda
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Coach Yolanda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
