I've coached cycling at Osaka Football Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Coach Yoko: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
