I've coached rowing at Surabaya Our Lady of Peace Swimming Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
