Coach Winnie
Athletics and fitness coach, Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Sunrise Sports Club
- 1988 to 2016
- English, French
I coached athletics at Sunrise Sports Club from 1988 to 2016. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Winnie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
