Coach Wangari

Coached volleyball for 30 years in Mbale

🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
Mbale Swimming Club
1982 to 2012
English, Swahili

For 30 years I ran the volleyball program at Mbale Swimming Club in Mbale. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Coach Wangari: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
