Coach Walter
Rowing coach, Miami Community Club
- 🇺🇸 Miami, Florida, United States
- Miami Community Club
- 1990 to 2007
- English
For 17 years I ran the rowing program at Miami Community Club in Miami. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
