Coach Valentina
Coached boxing for 35 years in Barranquilla
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Willow Creek Community Club
- Since 1991
- Spanish
For 35 years I've run the boxing program at Willow Creek Community Club in Barranquilla. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Valentina
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Valentina: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
