Coach Thomas
Youth gymnastics coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- 2004 to 2025
- English
For 21 years I ran the gymnastics program at Derry Boxing Gym in Derry. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Thomas: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2024. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Curitiba.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Haarlem.
