Coach Tharindu
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
- Jaffna Central Youth Club
- Since 2015
- English
I've coached hockey at Jaffna Central Youth Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Coach Tharindu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Tharindu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
