Coach Suren
Basketball and fitness coach, George
- 🇿🇦 George, Western Cape, South Africa
- George Good Shepherd Football Club
- 2004 to 2019
- English
I coached basketball at George Good Shepherd Football Club from 2004 to 2019. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Suren: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
