Coach Sumbal
Chess coach, Quetta Swimming Club
- 🇵🇰 Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan
- Quetta Swimming Club
- 1983 to 2017
- English, Urdu
For 34 years I ran the chess program at Quetta Swimming Club in Quetta. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

You coached me in 2016. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Austin.
