Coach Sowmya
Badminton and fitness coach, Surat
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Surat Swimming Club
- Since 1999
- English, Malayalam
For 27 years I've run the badminton program at Surat Swimming Club in Surat. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Sowmya
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Sowmya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
