Coach Solomon
Coached rugby for nine years in Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 2015 to 2024
- English
For nine years I ran the rugby program at Trinity Youth Club in Jimma. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Solomon
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Solomon: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
