Coach Sofía
Swimming coach, Tampa Heritage Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States
- Tampa Heritage Sports Club
- Since 1985
- English, Spanish
For 41 years I've run the swimming program at Tampa Heritage Sports Club in Tampa. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
More about Coach Sofía
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Sofía: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy. Greetings from Toledo.

You coached me in 2005. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Lviv.
