Coach Simiyu

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
  • Since 1990
  • English, French
I've coached cross country at Holy Cross Sports Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Coach Simiyu

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
