I've coached table tennis at Ciudad de México Boxing Gym since 1983. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Silvia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
