Coach Shweta
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Elmwood Boxing Gym
- Since 1996
- English, Hindi
I've coached badminton at Thane Elmwood Boxing Gym since 1996. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Coach Shweta
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Shweta: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
