Coach Shanice
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- Richards Bay Sports Club
- Since 1990
- English
For 36 years I've run the rowing program at Richards Bay Sports Club in Richards Bay. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Coach Shanice
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
